CC Looks – Spring Floral Fashion

Intro

It’s Spring time, so you know what that means; pastels and flowers!  Yes… the same as every single year, lol! Or so you would think… My research on Spring Floral Fashion for this year is slightly different, which makes me quite happy!  Of course, you can find loads of Spring Floral Fashion CC here at The Sims Resource; there is so much more than just the highlighted pieces I show in this blog.  I tried to pick various trending floral CC pieces perfect for Spring Floral Fashion.  So get your mouse clicker ready and get ready to download. There are loads of links here for you to download!

The Trend

CC Links – Dress & Nails

As with any trend, I like to do a little research, you know, google it.  Spring Floral Fashion is not just pastels this year, which makes me very happy.  In my research on the flower patterns, I saw a lot of texture and embroidery.  Sure, there were some typical pastel floral dresses but lovely dark blues, purples, greens, and blacks. Love the options with the different looks.  I kept looking for different trending styles that were more than sundresses.  Then I saw the embroidery and said, ” Oh no, Granny Chic!  But as I looked onward, it is not; it is more clean and elegant, not overdone, so again, I am happy with this element of Spring Floral Fashion.  I am not usually a big fan of pastels or general Spring Fashion. However, I like this embroidery style and the darker colors paired with the floral patterns.  I know, of course, I will enjoy the darker tones!

Look 1

For look number one, I wanted to go with a traditional spring floral dress look.  This dress not only includes floral patterns but also a lovely pastel pink.  The dress style with the loose-fitting flowy feel and low V-neck is also a classic trend for Spring Floral Fashion.   I paired this look with a lovely flower necklace, strappy heels, and POOF perfect Spring floral dress.  Yes, I know this is a typical sundress, but I figured we needed at least one for this Spring Floral Fashion blog since it is a traditional style for spring fashion.

Look 2

For look two, I incorporated two elements of Spring Floral Fashion for this year; the dark blue color I have been seeing everywhere and muted tones on floral prints.  I wanted to also use a crop top and pants to be different rather than have all dresses.  So I found this adorable set that fits both needs, paired again with sandals, and poof, perfect Spring Floral Fashion. This is a two-piece outfit set, so I thought it was super trendy and different from the classic sundresses.

Look 3

Look three is a super trend, with dark shades and embroidered floral prints.  The mesh under the blouse also just adds more style.  This dress paired with perfect long sleek hairstyles and Mary Jane’s. I absolutely love this look overall and would totally wear this IRL.  I love this Sim’s overall look, I just cannot get over how well it turned out, and the details on the dress with that embroidery texture are just incredible.  And yes, these images are unedited, and that embroidery looks that amazing.

Look 4

CC Links – Children’s Suit & Adult Suit

For this Spring Floral Fashion blog, I wanted to include clothing for ALL ages of Sims.  I saw these adorable matching suits and thought, well, isn’t this perfect.  There are also matching toddler suits available as well! What isn’t there to love about matching parent and child outfits!  I think I definitely need to do more with matching outfits shortly! They are just too cute!

Look 5

Take a look at this adorable toddler dress!  I just love the flowers on this dress.  The flowers are some form of embellishment that just pop off the skirt, giving the plain pastel an exquisite and chic look.  I love this as an alternative to the different colored patterns of flowers.  I paired this dress with some adorable shoes and another outfit perfect for spring. Toddler CC is another area I would love to do more content! This is yet another area loads of Simmers ask about! And let me tell you, it is here at The Sims Resource.

Summary

I am pleased with how these Spring Floral Fashion looks turned out.  I wanted to make sure they were slightly different than just pastels.  Of course, they all have some form of flowers or floral pattern, but I did not want them to be pastels and flowers together.  I love to try incorporating new trends when highlighting custom content; it just gives everything more variety and provides more links for all of you!

Apparently, not all love Spring Floral Fashion.  Take a look at that face on that toddler!  LOL Just Kidding! I just included this screenshot because it was too funny, the stink eye on that one!  Still adorable all the same, even with the little attitude!

I hope you all found links to the new CC to download and enjoy!   When searching for CC, I used the search function and keywords such as ‘floral,’ “flower,’ and ‘spring.’  I also went through recently featured creations.  I always like to include as many recent results with a mix of previous designs just to highlight a good bit of everything, but still stay on current trends when highlighting CC in blogs.  Of course, here at The Sims Resource, there are loads more options for Spring Floral Fashion.    Stay tuned for more CC Links and blogs!
