Who is ready for spooky Halloween CC in this Get That Look Blog? We are going Monsterific with these Sim Halloween Costumes! I aim to create five monster looks in Super Alpha CC. In the last couple of years, I have highlighted cute CC; this year, we will go super scary! And yes, no photos until the Monsters are ready! Trust me, it is worth the wait!
What is Alpha CC
Alpha CC is a style of CC that looks more realistic compared to the graphic style of the base game. This style of CC is less cartoony, which is perfect for our monsters! You can learn about different styles of CC HERE in this blog. I went with the Alpha CC style to give the Sims a more ethereal, which I figured would work better with alpha hair that looked like it had a bit of movement to the hairstyles. Nothing is spookier than a gush of wind through your hair without actual wind.
Halloween Collection
Of course, if you need even more CC for Halloween, there is an entire collection HERE to create your own Sim Halloween Costumes. I had to cut myself off with only a couple baskets… four baskets full of CC. This means loads and loads of spooky links perfect for Sim Halloween Costumes!
The Monsters
There are many different monsters to select, so choosing five monsters to style took a lot of work. I picked Mummy, Demon, Banshee, Spider Queen, and Zombie for my final selections. Who is ready for the photos… Let’s get spooky!
Monster #1 – Mummy
Featured CC – Hairstyle, SKin, Skin Details, skin Details, eyebrows, Eyes, eyelashes, Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Face Markings, Nails, Earrings, Necklace, Mummy Wraps, and Feet Accessory
I wanted some spooky Sim Halloween Costumes, so a Mummy was on the list. I absolutely love the gold jewelry and makeup markings. All these details, like the accessories, nails, makeup, and skin details, make this wrapped-up monster fun and scary. Even mummies need to look good, right? This Mummy may not look straight out of the sarcophagus, but she totally looks spooky.
Monster # 2 – Demon
Featured CC – Hairstyle, Skin, Facial Hair, Eyelashes, Eyebrows, Tattoos, Horns, Earrings, Nails, Suit, and Shoes
A Spooky Sim Halloween Costume blog needs a horned monster for sure. So here is a fancy formal demon for you! I went with red, a color usually associated with Demons and Devils. The look is super simple, but several elements add a bit of sophistication and occult elements to the costume.
Monster #3 – Banshee
Featured CC – Hair, Skin, Scars, Eyes, Eyeshadow, Eyeliner, Lipstick, Earrings, Necklace, Nails, and Dress
This hair is everything I wanted for this Banshee Sim Halloween Costume! This costume is so ethereally spooky, and I am here for it! I was thinking inspiration from the movie The Ring and the game 7 Days to Die… the screamer zombie… and this glorious costume came of it! One would think this lovely look would be a whole of links to CC, but it is pretty simple.
Monster #4 – Spider Queen
Featured CC – Hairstyle, Skin, Eyes, Face Extras, Eyelashes, Eyebrows, Blush, Lip Details, Lipstick, Eyeshadow, Headdress, Piercings, Earrings, Nails, and Dress
Spiders are the most terrifying creatures for me, so we have a glamorous Spider Queen here. I did not add all the eyes to show off this spooky skin. Also, this dress is absolutely stunning and perfect! The CC list for this one is pretty simple, aside from all the cc used for the face and skin details. A lot is going on with this look regarding makeup, for sure!
Monster #5 – Boyband Zombie
Featured CC – Hairstyle, Skin, Skin Details, Eyes, Eye Detail, Eyeliner, Eyeshadow, Eye Details, Blush, Suit, and Shoes
It is not Halloween without a zombie costume! This blog has a couple of undead costumes, but what can I say? They are totally spooky. This zombie resembles a character and is undoubtedly inspired by Beetlejuice and boybands! This Zombie is more cute than creepy, in my opinion!
Final Thoughts
Overall, I am thrilled with how the Sim Halloween Costumes came out. I do not know which one is my favorite. It is a toss-up between the Mummy, the Banshee, and Demon. I would have liked to add wings to the Demon and maybe make the Zombie a little more scary. All in all, they are what I wanted and spooky. They are loaded with CC links for you!
