Howdy! Today, we are diving into a Zodiac Lookbook! I created a Sim for each zodiac sign and made an everyday look for that Sim. Each of these Sims has loads of CC that I am highlighting. Of course, we are not doing all twelve Zodiacs today because this blog would be too long. So we have six in this Zodiac Lookbook: Aquarius, Gemini, Taurus, Pisces, Cancer, and Aries.
I found THIS WEBSITE (Astrotalk), with colors matched to the zodiac signs, so I decided to use it as a guide and pick colors to go with the Zodiacs in this lookbook. Each look has a similar color to the one listed on that website, or so I tried. I definitely took some creative freedom, but that is the fun part!
Aquarius

I wanted something between formal and casual for the overall look for Aquarius. The color of Aquarius is Electric Blue, which made me think of a thunderstorm. Then I saw this swatch on this dress with the light and darker blue gradient effect. I thought this would be a lovely representation of an airy look and the Electric Blue color.

Gemini

Seeing Gemini as a sophisticated sign, I wanted something casual but elegant and trendy. So, as another spring sign in the United States, I picked a nice bright pastel yellow top. I then saw this hairstyle and its accessory recolor… that matched so well! I just love a good matching outfit!

Taurus

I wanted something super clean for the Taurus Sim, but still matched the earthy green tone. I saw this jacket and dress combo, and although it is a little more pastel than I would like, I wanted to use it. Then I remembered that Taurus is a Spring Zodiac in the United States. Soooo it works perfectly.

Pisces

Pisces’ color, according to the website, is Calming Sea Green. I was unsure what that meant, but I saw this swatch and thought of it as a blend of teal and green, and to me, it looked pretty calming. So, with this one, I definitely took creative liberties… but I am designing the Sims, so… I can!

Cancer

For Cancer, being the mother of the zodiacs, I wanted a casual but still feminine look. The color paired with Cancer is silver, so I selected this light gray dress and paired it with glitter heels and eyeshadow. Of course, as a Cancer, I also had to put red hair on the cancer.

Aries

Yes, I am including masculine-styled Sims in this Zodiac Lookbook! According to the color guide, this is our Aries style and is a fiery red. This is no surprise, as Aries is a fire sign. I saw this shirt, and it seemed a bit between a nice casual look and an alternative formal style. I paired it with formal shoes to dress it up, and poof completed the look.

Summary
I tried to match the traditional characteristics of the zodiac sign to the looks; of course, there are so many varieties, and it is always different from person to person. I am pretty pleased with how the everyday looks turned out. Of these six, for my favorite it is a toss-up between Gemini and Aries. Gemini’s look is super casual but still very clean, and there is that lovely matching headband. Love a nice matching set. Aries… the beard and a red shirt, what else is there to say. My only regret is that I should have added tattoos to these Sims!
I did not go by the zodiac numbers in order but instead gathered the first complete six in the standard calendar. They are not in order for this blog, as I then grouped them by sign type; Air, Earth, Water, & Fire. Technically, Aries is the first zodiac. I was excited to do this lookbook, so I just went for it and will definitely be doing part two and more.
