It is time for another Get That Look, and we are trying the Mob Boss Wife Aesthetic. I know it sounds off, but I assure you this is, in fact, a real trend. As always, we will take this IRL trend and Simify it with CC. To my surprise, this particular aesthetic was actually quite easy to find CC for, so let’s check out all the links!
The Trend
So before we get carried away with links, let’s talk about this trending aesthetic. The Mob Boss Wife Aesthetic has actually been trending for the last two years; that’s right, this one has been here for the long haul. This trend, to me, is a combination of the “Old Money” or “Hollywood Glam” Aesthetics and the modern-day “Baddie” Aesthetics. The Mob Boss Wife Aesthetic is about confidence and attitude, and I really enjoyed creating these looks for it!
Now, where did this trend come from? Well, we have seen this aesthetic in movies like The Sopranos, The Godfather, Lord of War, Zootopia, and many more. In the last couple of years, there has been the introduction of romance short films and stories, and these are loaded with the Mob Boss Wife Aesthetic. And I have seen this aesthetic portrayed in a lot of books as well. As Booktok has become more trending, this aesthetic has grown, and I don’t think it is a coincidence.

What You Need For this Look
So let’s look at the basic elements you need to pull this look off in Sims or IRL!

1 – Glam it up
Much like the Hollywood Glam and Old Money Aesthetics, this look is all about timeless glam. Sparkles, fine fabrics, and pure elegance in every outfit, that is how this goes.

2 – Statement Jewelry
With the Mob Boss Wife, an Aesthetic statement, Jewelry is a reflection of confidence. Big gems and pearls are all perfect for this look, but it’s all about balance. Generally, you see a Statement necklace or earrings paired with a statement ring or bracelet, not generally all elements as statement pieces.
3 – Textures and Animals Prints
Textures and Animal Prints are a part of this aesthetic and are encouraged. Of course, you can also substitute these for dark colors such as browns and navys or even bold reds. This aesthetic is meant to stand out and scream Look at me, I’m glamorous!

4 – Timeless Sophistication
For this aesthetic, sophisticated, clean, but fully done makeup is in order. You can go a bit on the natural side and pair it with dark eyeliner and smoky eyes, as I have done below, or you can add more dramatic contour and bolder lip colors. Really, what matters is that the look looks glamorous and sophisticated.
