The Sims Toddler Reading Dedeathify Is Cute and Slightly Alarming

It’s always a sweet, tender moment when your baby reads their own book for the first time. And it’s just as sweet in The Sims. Though sometimes, the reading material is questionable… When a toddler reads a magic tome, you can’t help but wonder if they even know what they’re reading. And if they do, that raises even more concerns.

Over on r/LowSodiumSimmers, in a post by Pandora_Foxx, we see a toddler reading Dedeathify. Uhm, where’d you get that from, kid? We suppose it’s not so strange when the toddler is a spellcaster who belongs to a family of casters. Still, that’s some advanced magic for a tiny tot!

I'm pleased to report that Toddlers reading Magical Tomes has not been patched out

Humor of the situation aside, it really is a cute feature that we’re thankful has not been patched out in the May update. For those of us who enjoy occult gameplay, this is perfect. Having a family of spellcasters who teach their young magic would make for a good occult storyline. It fits so well with the werewolf toddler eating that hunk of raw meat. It’s always cute when toddlers and children are involved in occult activities, as it adds depth to the gameplay.

So if you’re an occult-loving player, this is right up your alley! Get out there and have your spell-slinging Sims teach their little ones how to be great like them. Dag dag!
