Today, we have another Kit to review: the Wonderland Playroom Kit. This Kit was released on February 26, 2026, as part of four Kits launched in February 2026. So, let’s go down the rabbit hole and explore what the Wonderland Kit has to offer Simmers.
About the Kit

This kit is entirely themed around Wonderland, inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” It offers a variety of color options, ranging from the classic black, white, and red associated with Wonderland to vibrant pastels. The description emphasizes that the kit creates a whimsical play space where imagination can thrive. Notable elements from Wonderland include a tea set, uniquely designed furniture, a stuffed rabbit, hanging top hats, a dodo bird, and a grinning cat.
What is in the Kit

I am counting twenty-four items in the Wonderland Playroom Kit. The wall coverings and floors come with a good variety of swatches, which is quite nice in terms of quantity. There are also several functional items for Sims to interact with, such as the bookshelf, toy chest, crafting corner, and television. Additionally, the Kit includes a room that you can place on your lots, so we will be taking photos in that room for this review.

For me, this is where the Kit loses its whimsical vibe and takes on more of a fever dream aesthetic. I have to admit, I’m not a fan of the floors or most of the wallpaper. The combination of bright colors and patterns honestly gives me a headache. However, if the elements are paired separately or with a solid wooden floor, they can work quite well. It’s all subjective; what I dislike, someone else might really enjoy. On a positive note, I do like the doors, the rabbit with cards, and the striped patterns.

I believe that with the right setup, the items in this kit could create a truly charming room. The chess set and chairs are beautiful, and the turtle bench is really cute. The loveseat and stuffed rabbit are also quite nice.

I think the most unique feature is the bookshelf that connects to the wall. It’s great for parents who don’t want to leave their little ones alone, as it allows for visibility from the other side. I also really enjoy the Flamingo chair; I find it both cute and hilarious at the same time.
Final Thoughts
So looking back at this, I wish I had not used the room that comes with the pack. As the colors selected for some of them just don’t work with me, it just looks like a chaos of colors. I get that it’s a Wonderland vibe, but I would get sick in this room. Aside from that, the Wonderland Playroom Kit has potential, just depending on what you do with it.

Of course, all that being said, it also fits the trend of Maximalism, which is a big trend lately in interior design and fashion. Maximalism involves mixing patterns, bold color palettes, and various textures to create a personalized space where the motto is ‘more is more.’ Personally, I prefer a darker and more classic style, so maximalism isn’t really my thing. However, if you feel the same way, you can tone things down by using darker shades along with classic black, white, and red color swatches from these items.
