The Sims 4: Werewolves Gameplay Trailer

Did you catch the new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Werewolves pack?! Jump into CAS and take a look at some of the new content, the wolf-painting system, and take a peek at some of the gameplay around life in Moonwood Mill!

Check out the stream over here on YouTube, or over here on Twitch.

There’s a new world – Moonwood Mill – full of lore and stories to explore. Venture into some rather questionable places (climbing down into a portal-potty, perhaps?) and who knows what you’ll find, or where you’ll end up! Just make sure to keep an eye out for Greg, the rumor “mill” (aha, I’m so clever) has it that he’s not the friendliest wolf in the tunnel.

If the moon is right, you might even be able to find the rare Moonpetal, or perhaps catch a glimpse of some magical fish lurking in Lake Lunvik. There are 8 new lunar phases (coming to the base game with the Werewolves pre-release patch) and they will have an affect on all occult sims, not just werewolves.

As you work up through the Werewolf Initiate aspiration, once you’ve gotten the hang of things, you’ll unlock four new aspirations that can take your sims down varied paths through werewolf life.

For those living life on the not-quite-so-furry side of things, keep on eye on your sims in the event that they contract there werebies. You can check the mill’s notice board to check out the werebies advisory, of it’s it already too late, hit up the bartender if you hope the stop the condition from… worsening.

If things do start to get out of hand paw, keep an eye on that temperament! Various traits your sims have may leave them howling in fury, leaving a wake of destruction in their path.

Once things are under control, you might find that being the lone wolf is no fun. There are two packs in Moonwood Mill: The Moonwood Collective, and The Wildfangs. If you complete a few trials and prove that you’re worth, you might be able to join their ranks! (If you’re brave enough, you can even challenge the alpha for control!)

This pack looks like it’s going be a howling good time, if you catch my drift.

The Sims 4: Werewolves is set to release on PC/Mac, Xbox, Playstation, and Steam on June 16th, 2022.
