If you’re a pet owner, you know how it is. You get up, they get up. You walk, they walk. It’s just how it goes when you’re a pet parent. No more privacy, ever again. And that much is true for our Sims and their pets too!
Over on r/Sims4, Reddit user TheUtopianCat’s Sim is experiencing what every pet owner has to go through. A bathroom buddy! As weird as it may be, pets just love to be in the bathroom with you, and The Sims is no different. All pets are alike, it seems, whether real or digital.

Just look at those good little bathroom buddies, protecting their owner from whatever may attack in the bathroom. They do their jobs well. Watching and waiting for anything to happen. Or maybe they’re just lonely and don’t want to be away from their owner! Who really knows what goes through a pet’s head?
Whatever the reason for their standing guard, we can all agree that it definitely echoes real life. We’ve all had that moment where you just look down and stare into the large pupils of your loving pet, and wonder, “Why are you even in here?”
