A Business and Hobbies Legacy Gameplay

Sometimes The Sims 4 gameplay can get a bit repetitive when you’ve done it all. You’ve done the 100 Baby challenge. Easy. You’ve done the Not So Berry challenge. You’ve even created legacies to entertain yourselves.

And that is exactly what Reddit user Ohdidntseeyouthere_ created and posted to r/LowSodiumSimmers for those of you who really enjoy playing with the pack Business and Hobbies! The legacy challenge is made up of the Founder and 10 heirs that will have their own flourishing businesses.

The Rules of The Challenge

Now let’s get to the rules! Money cheats are non-negotiable. You can’t use them. The legacy can be played on any age span. Money can only be made by selling collectibles or using the sales table, until the starter business is opened. Every business must reach Local Legend of Renown. And wrapping up the basic rules, the Sim and their partner must both complete their aspirations.

Now, let’s move on to the other rules. Before opening a business, the Sim must reach level 3 of Charisma as well as level 5 of that generation’s required skill. You also need a starter home before opening a business. Let’s get into heirs! They can be a science baby, adopted, or born. Before the heir may move out, household funds must be at 20k! Before moving onto the next heir, an heir’s requirement must be completed.

Last but not least, jobs! Even in the Sims, you have to work to stay alive. How realistic. The rules for employment are simple. All you have to do is make sure that you don’t go past career level 5 unless needed for an aspiration. Easy peasy!

This legacy challenge can be completed with only base-game features and Business & Hobbies, but it is recommended to have other packs. If curious about this legacy challenge, you can read all about it in the linked Reddit post. Have fun! Dag dag!
