Recently, Grim has been on several adventures across players’ saves! From having babies with Sims to spying on Sims in their homes, he’s been surprisingly active. Is he going through an existential crisis? His whole life has been harvesting the souls and guiding them through the afterlife. Does he long for something more fulfilling? We’re not sure, but we do know he’s definitely up to some weird behavior recently!
Roomies!
Not many Sims get to say that they have Grim as a roommate! Then again, few Sims would want the embodiment of death splitting household chores and bills with them. However, Reddit user u/GoblinMonk didn’t seem to mind! They didn’t think that Grim would accept the arrangement, but he did! Now he’s out in the shared garden, watering the plants.
We bet it’s hard for him to find friends! More often than not, Sims don’t really vibe with him. Although there is always an exception. A few Sims love Grim and all that he represents. His dark personality, his even darker fashion. Other Sims don’t really mind Grim’s presence, not because they like him, but because they know death is an inevitable force. Even immortal Sims can’t outrun Grim in the end.
I didn't think he'd agree to be our roommate!

Would it be comforting to have Grim in the home, or terrifying? Grim’s not a bad guy! He’s just weird. Most Sims can’t get over the ominous black clouds that roll out from underneath his clothes, or the unsettling noises that follow him, or even his deep, low voice. And sure, he might not be the best around living Sims. He may not be the most charismatic. Give him a break; he guides the dead. We think it would be pretty cool to live with Grim. He can teach you how to accept that death comes for all, and you can teach him that staring through people’s windows after taking their grandpa to the afterlife is a bit strange!
