If you’ve played The Sims 4 long enough, you know just how outrageous and ridiculous the deaths can be in-game. And today, we’re going to cover some comments from a Reddit thread that describes the funniest or worst ways their Sims have died. Let’s dive in!
#1 The Vending Machine
First off is one of the most well-known: death by a vending machine. It’s one of those ridiculous moments when you just stare at your screen and go, “Really.” Aeon_phoenix spent over 2 hours making the perfect Sim. With all the traits to be cool, popular, and athletic, he was ready for Mt.Komorebi. He went to the slopes to try to do an intermediate slope and immediately injured himself. Defeated and hungry, he went to the vending machines. His food wasn’t coming out, so he decided to shake it. Big mistake. It fell and crushed him! Poor guy.
#2 The Keg Party
Next up is from lavabendingfirelord, who threw a keg party for their Sim. Everyone was drinking from the keg, having a hysterical time. Then, in a hysterical haze, they decided to go streaking! Now, too hysterical to think straight, the Sim passes, and then others follow! What a way to go out! Grim came to do his job and, while there, decided to do a keg stand himself. Hey, when there’s an opportunity to party, take it!
#3 The First Snow
Up next is RaysAreBaes, who threw a massive, disgustingly rich party for their celebrity Sim. Everyone with a name in The Sims was there. Judith Ward, the Landgraabs, Jaques Villareal, etc. They even invited Father Winter, as it was Christmas Eve. Everyone arrives dressed to the nines. It’s going great up until it begins to snow. Everyone runs out to see the first snow, excited by the sight. until Father Winter freezes to death! RaysAreBaes tries to get them all inside, but in their grief over losing Father Winter, they keep coming out to grieve him. But every time they go outside, one by one they began to freeze to death. The only one to survive was RaysAreBaes’s Sim. Though once returning home, they died of old age on the landing. How sad.
#4 Evil and Gloomy
This one is brought to you by TiredCeresian, who had two very different brother Sims. One brother was Evil and Hotheaded, while the other was Gloomy and a Loner. What a duo. The evil hothead has a bad day at work and comes home enraged. He picks a fight with his brother, but his anger is too fiery. He dies of a cardiac explosion! And in the Gloomy’s brother’s grief, he dies from a broken heart! That’s so terrible! They both died from their overwhelming emotions.
#5 The Murphy Bed
Lastly, our last story is from breadthebird! They spent a few hours in Create A Sim creating a single mom and her toddler, and then spent even more time creating the perfect tiny home for them. Everything is perfect. The gameplay begins. Finally, in Live Mode, breadthebird has the mom get ready for bed by pulling down the Murphy bed. But as soon as she does, she gets crushed and dies! Not even two minutes later, CPS comes and takes the toddler. What a way to go. And what a terrible thing for the toddler to witness!
There are so many more deaths that we could cover, but these are some of the silliest stories that we found! Good thing we’re not Sims, or we’d be dying like flies! Dag dag!
