Sims are really stubborn. And when we say really stubborn, we mean extremely. They’ll bake cakes against your wishes, put their baby down when you’re just trying to feed them, and wear hot-weather clothes in cold weather! And even worse than all that is they’ll go swimming in the pool in below-freezing water.
Reddit user Beginning_Ear2761 found that out the hard way when their Sim insisted on swimming in the pool, even while there was snow on the ground! Talk about a polar plunge! This player tried so hard to keep their stubborn Sim out of the water, but it had a mind of its own. A Sim will just do what a Sim wants, we suppose. We thought the players were in charge, but from the way our Sims act, players’ wishes don’t even matter!

Unfortunately for this stubborn Sim, its decisions left them to meet a frozen grave. Maybe they should have stayed out of the pool while it was snowing! It’s nearly impossible to keep a Sim out of the pool. They’ll either swim until they are exhausted or die from natural causes, like the weather. We’re not quite sure how to stop them from doing it without putting a fence around the pool. Lock the gate and only let them in when you decide they can swim! Maybe that’ll teach them! Dag dag!
