Maxis Match Lookbook

Welcome back to The Sims Resource Blog! Today I’ve put together a lookbook of Maxis-Match only looks. I’m excited to showcase some of the work of our talented artists who make Maxis Match content, especially because a lot of it works well with Alpha CC too!

Here are our models, fresh off their last feature in the Y2K lookbook. Time for a makeover!

On the Hunt

This might be my favorite look from the entire lookbook! The flipped out ends of this hairstyle with the coordinating barrettes is really charming. Meanwhile, this Sim really proves that Maxis Match skin details can be just as stunning as Alpha ones while still looking native to the game–I adore how these freckles by Sagittariah look in game!

Cozy Vibes

One of my favorite parts of this look is the ponytail! The hair can be worn in the normal EA colors but can also have an ombré, which I decided to put on this Sim in pink. The cozy sweater and tie front skirt create a comfy but still put-together outfit and I love how this Maxis Match eyeliner brings out the shape of my Sim’s eyes.

Business As Usual

If you want your Sims to look professional, Maxis Match CC has you covered! This suit look comes in a huge variety of colors, from pastels to jewel tones, which means it’ll look good on all variety of Sims. The nails on this Sim are Maxis Match as well, so no worries for those of you who are looking to make the switch but love nails–they work with the MM aesthetic too.

Peaches and Cream

This look is one of my favorites from the bunch! Bustier-style dresses are very on-trend right now and the creamsicle color has me dreaming of summer already. The accessories on this hair are probably my favorite part of the look–the beads and metal clips came in a ton of colors so that this hairstyle could be worn with many outfits and jewelry tones.

That’s it for today’s Maxis Match lookbook! I hope you guys have found some new favorite MM items here on The Sims Resource. My personal game tends to have more MM than Alpha custom content, but I really love playing with both depending on the save. Be sure to check out our most recent lookbook here!
