Whether you’re wanting to share your wonderful creation on TSR or a funny screenshot with friends, you’ll need to know how to edit your Sims 3 screenshots. You can do it with either GIMP or Photoshop, but one bonus with GIMP is that it’s free. Let’s begin!
What You’ll Need
- A nice Sims 3 screenshot
- An image manipulating program such as GIMP or Adobe Photoshop. For this tutorial, I’ll use GIMP.
- Nice images to use as backgrounds.
How to Edit Sims 3 Screenshots
First of all have your both images (screenshot and background) in one folder to make things easier.
Now open the screenshot image using GIMP. If it asks either you want to keep or convert the image, click “keep.”
Now use free select tool to select the part that you need (in this image I’m taking the pink woman’s head (do not maintain the left mouse button it will only make things harder and your picture’s quality worse!).
Now copy the selected zone.
Now paste it in the background picture (opened with GIMP).
Move the shape in the right positions.
Now save the file under JPEG form.
Now upload and enjoy!
