One of the best things about Custom Content in The Sims 4 is that you can turn your game into anything you can imagine. Like many Simmers, I play other games aside from The Sims 4. Nintendo Inspired
There are so many ways to incorporate video game CC for The Sims. One way you can integrate other games into your Sim worlds is to have fully themed rooms. One of the most popular of this type of inspiration is Nintendo games. There is quite a bit of Mario and Pokemon inspired CC that you can find on The Sims Resource. You can have an entire room dedicated to these fabulous Nintendo games.

Another way to bring Nintendo to your Sims is to build an entire world or full lots inspired by your favorite video games. In May, Paige designed a fabulous Animal Crossing inspired lot in the Room Reno Blog. Just imagine a world full of Animal Crossing-inspired lots! Sounds like a blast to me! If only I could build!

Horror Inspired
The stunning Alcina Dimitrescu, from Resident Evil 8 has made her imprint on many gamers. Even now loads of Simmers and this spooky character inspired CC. Yes, we have Tall Lady CC for you! Hair, dress, and you can find hats and jewelry to complete the whole look. Specifically, the hair by S-Club and dress by Bela11997 are very close in resemblance to the character’s style.
Of course, that is not the only horror video game to inspire CC here at The Sims Resource. Resident Evil Characters overall seem to inspire some really fabulous hairs as well as… Make sure to check out the Leon hair by S-club as well. We are not going to get too creepy in this section, but if you want the spooky CC all you have to do is search.
RPG Game Inspired
Have a favorite RPG (Role Playing Game) game and want to make Sim characters based on them? Give it a shot with the CC here at The Sims Resource. All you have to do is type in character names or the game names to find them.

I am a World of Warcraft player and I really like playing elves. So naturally, one of my favorites Warcraft inspired cc is Merci’s Night Elf Set these are hands down the best markings to make Night Elves.

I also see inspired CC from a lot of strategy games, VS games, and FPS games that may not fit into the other categories like Street Fighter, Overwatch, Fortnite, and League of Legends. There is of course loads of CC here at The Sims Resource for these other games and it all varies from CAS to buy items and more.

The one area I found most exciting about Video Game CC, was the accessories I found during my research. There are so many great accessories pieces like these Chun Li and Ahri inspired items that just add so much more to the look of the character you are trying to create.
Summary
There are no limits to what you can do with the CC here at The Sims Resource. You can take inspiration from any video game and bring it to your Sims worlds. There are so many options of things to do. You can decorate a room, a house, or an entire world full of inspired items from your favorite video games. You can also make Sims inspired by your favorite characters. One game save I have is all Sims inspired by World of Warcraft Characters. I always have a lot of fun playing with my WOW world, the Sims do not quite always follow the storyline. My next project is going to be playing with some gamer Sims. It sounds like a lot of fun to me!
