TSR News

We are starting with what happened at TSR in December. Just a hint: There is so much CC, so let’s look!

Artist Awards

In December, we hosted our first Annual Artist Awards to appreciate and celebrate all the hard work Artists have put in this year! Several awards were given, such as Trendsetters, TSR Champions, TSR Top Contributors, Community Choice, and TSR Artist of the Year. For the Community Choice award, the community voted for their favorite Artists in each category.

EA News

MySims Review

After the release of the Artist Kits, most of the EA news has been related to My Sims and the current holiday event. You can read about My Sims in Queenie’s My Sims blog HERE. So, let’s look into what we know and expect to see soon. Holiday Event

sims 4 cozy celebrations

The current holiday event, Cozy Celebrations, is a lot like the Reaper’s Rewards event. Simmers are reporting bugs to the Cozy Celebrations…  When you complete the tasks, you get points and unlock prizes for your household, I think I only have two prizes left, and I am stuck! I, for my life, cannot find the festive framed TV! I hope to figure it out this weekend and complete the holiday event. You can read more about this event HERE.

Updates and Patches

There is currently a holiday sale on the Sims 4 DLC packs. Most Stuff, Game, and Expansion packs are between twenty-five and sixty percent off. I don’t know how long the sale will last, but you can find it HERE.

The December update was mostly about getting ready for the holidays, setting up the event, adding more clothes to cold weather clothing, date updates, mermaid hair updates, and Grimborn traits. You can find the complete list of fixes in the new patch HERE.

New Pack Rumors and Speculation

It has been almost a few months since the last Sims 4 Expansion Pack or significant announcement, so many Simmers wonder what will happen next. There are rumors that the next major DLC will be a music-inspired theme. Undoubtedly, we will see an updated roadmap or peaks soon as we move into 2025!

Now, I will say I am seeing peaks at a different theme. Looking at The Sims 4 social media accounts, I see hints like Confess your Sins’ and ‘having a long-distance bestie.’ My personal opinion is travel (hotels please) or religion. I am still watching the clues, but these are both hints I am seeing. However, I would love a music-themed pack and hotels in my game!

What is Next?

As we wrap up December 2024, we are excited about the opportunities that January and 2025 will bring. We have several plans in place, including updates to our website and enhancements for the community. In January, our primary focus will be building community and optimizing website features to improve user experience as we transition into early 2025. From all of us here at TSR, we hope you had a wonderful Holiday Season and wish you all the best in 2025!
