Sims Marketplace is Exceeding EA’s Expectations
Weeks later and the Sims marketplace is still a hot topic in the Sims community. But whether players love or hate it, it’s exceeding the expectations of Electronic Arts. What expectations could these be?
The expectations that Electronic Arts had are unclear but an anonymous insider shared that the marketplace “has so far exceeded EA’s expectations,” adding, “We don’t know what [those expectations] were, though.”, as reported by GameSpot.
So who is helping exceed these expectations? Hundreds, if not thousands, of players have vowed not to purchase any of the Moola to buy content. In prior weeks, the outrage has been loud and clear. Players did not want this feature to be put in the game. Either Electronic Arts expected the marketplace to flop, or there are players out there giving the marketplace a second chance.
Either way, EA appears to be gaining more from the marketplace than many expected! We have no numbers to share at this time, leaving this anonymous statement very vague, as well as leaving much to the imagination.
Have players stopped protesting and caved into using the feature?
