Does being mean in The Sims 4 actually have consequences? It seems like every player has had a mean or evil Sim that just didn’t work out. Being rude in The Sims hardly has any real consequences most of the time. You make an evil Sim; you’re mean to a few townies, do a few evil things, and your reputation barely dips into the negative. However, one player’s Sim was actually so mean that it had consequences. An Imaginary Friend had endured so much from a mean child that they actually left and went back to their imaginary land!
My Sims daughter was so mean to her imaginary friend that it poofed back into the nether 💀

Try To Be A Little Nicer Next Time
Of course, Sims can be mean. Sims like Count Vladislaus Straud IV, for example, are among the rudest Sims in the game. Another is Agnes Crumplebottom, who will straight up abuse any Sim she sees engaging in romantic interactions. In fact, these Sims are difficult to befriend at times. So why aren’t Sims players who make them punished for their evil, horrid ways? Or why are some player-made Sims so evil that they do impact others? Who knows!
However, what we do know is that u/navigating-life‘s Sims daughter is so mean to her Imaginary Friends that it made them run back to their imaginary lands. That mean streak is serious! What was she doing to that poor doll to make it dislike her so much? Was she pulling on its buttons? Tearing out its sewn-in hair? Dropping it out of their bedroom window?
But once again, it’s rather easy to win back the heart of the wronged in The Sims 4. The Imaginary Friend told the daughter that she just had to be nice to her the next time she was called on. So will this mean streak fade away? Will she be mean to the friend and cause her to leave again? Will the Imaginary Friend keep forgiving her?
