According to the cheat sheet, if you don’t mind waiting, the ailment will disappear after 3 days. But if you’re not so patient, there are plenty of other ways to get rid of these pesky ailments. Visiting Moondrop Spring or asking a fairy for help are the most mystical options, if you’re into the full occult game play. Going hand in hand with that is the option to brew your own cure, if you’re playing as a spell caster or even a holistic Sim. If you’re a chronic pack buyer who doesn’t really care for the occult aspect of the pack, maybe sending your sim to Naturopath for a $1,500 treatments more up your style.
Within the sheet, it even shows you what creation cures what! Got an emotional void eating away at your Sim that therapy just can’t fix? With two Aura Petals and one leaf of Basil, your Sim can go back to feeling like their self. Or is your Sim’s sinuses so messed up that when they sneeze, they have meteor boogies that break objects? Grab two leaves of Sage and one Daisy for a quick cure. Sinus relief is no joke!
Game Changer!
Fortunately for the Sims community, we have players who dive deep into the mechanics of new packs and the game play, so that we don’t have to! A good ole’ right click + shift does the job well too, if you find the ailment system bothersome for your Sim but want it on for others. If you don’t want it at all, go to the main menu and navigate to pack settings, which you can find under game options. Scroll until you are under the Enchanted by Nature section and turn off ‘Enable Ailment Spread’. Poof, no more annoying ailments!
No matter your game play, whether it is mystical and whimsical, or serious with no occult, a good cheat sheet can be a life saver!
