When tragedy strikes in The Sims 4, it often leads to unexpected hilarity, though, depending on your perspective, it can be seen as either amusing or unfortunate. While players may find humor in these situations, for the Sims involved, it’s a genuine tragedy. In classic Sims fashion, one particularly awkward grieving session began with a meteor. When a player decides to have their Sim’s husband die, that Sim is left to deal with the aftermath of her husband’s absence.
Over on r/LowSodiumSimmers, Reddit user imliterallyjustagirl killed off their Sim’s husband since they were sick and tired of the husband. Doing so has absolutely broken the wife’s heart. But according to OP, the husband was a real piece of work! He’d flirt with her friends, and worse, her daughter! What a joke. imliterallyjustagirl had him look into a telescope until it finally happened. A meteor struck him. Good riddance, we say.

The sight of her in that steaming cascade of water, tears mingling with spray droplets, made it clear that this was more than just a game to her player; it was a narrative of heartbreak and hope.
We’ve never seen a Sim cry so hard. But there she is, sobbing in the shower over her loser husband’s death, trying to pick up the pieces that he left behind. Poor girl. Let’s hope her player can fix her broken heart and find a new husband who won’t flirt with her loved ones.
