The Sims 4 Silver Screen Style Kit Review

Hello Simmers! We have another Kit to take a look at! The Sims 4 Silver Screen Kit was released with the Royalty and Legacy Grand Bundle on February 12, 2026. The Silver Screen Kit, with its classic look, is a great addition to the CAS items found in the Royalty and Legacy Expansion Pack. We are going to take a look at what the Silver Screen Kit has to offer in this review.

What is the Kit

In the Silver Screen Kit, I am counting 28 Create a Sim and CAS items. The items include a pair of glasses, a couple of hats, rings, a necklace, a pair of earrings, shoes, and clothing.  The items fall under the classic Old Money Asthetic. The Old Money Aesthetic is a fashion trend that showcases timeless, high-quality luxury.  This fashion trend is inspired by the mid-20th century and features elegant luxury rather than flashy pieces. Pearls, diamonds, gold, hats, scarves, suits, layered clothing, gloves, finely textured apparel, and trench coats all fit this aesthetic.

What’s in the Kit

Let’s take a look at what is in this Kit! We have 28 new items to look for, ranging from accessories, shoes, and clothing, so let’s dive in!

Clothing

The clothing items in this kit are essential for EA content. If you use Custom Content (CC), you might already have clothing in this aesthetic. However, for console players and those who do not use CC, this pack offers a significant amount of value. I often find it challenging to find suitable cold-weather attire, but this kit has greatly simplified that issue for me!

Accessories

For accessories, these pieces all make sense to me, except the rings. I don’t think the rings fit that low-key luxury look. But it is nice to have the option of multiple and layered rings for our Sims.

Hats

This classic look definitely features hats and scarves, and the Kit comes with 3 new ones, which will enhance my Royal Sims’ attire perfectly!

Final Thoughts

Overall, I like this kit, although it’s not exactly my preferred aesthetic. However, I do use it for my Sims. The style is a great fit for modern royal Sims, which is likely why the Silver Screen Kit has been bundled with the Royalty and Legacy Expansion Pack.

My only complaints are that the rings count as two separate items even though they are basically the same, and I would appreciate at least one additional pair of bottoms for both masculine and feminine styles, as each currently only has one option in the bottom separates.

I really like the long skirt and the layered look of the masculine trench coat. Additionally, the pin on the dress and coat adds a nice touch to complete the outfit.
