It’s a void baby! Posted to r/Sims4 by Nikki_Lastname, the player reports that their baby turned into a void after being aged up into a toddler. When the infant was aged up into a toddler, a glitch occurred, turning the baby pitch black! In an attempt to fix the blacked-out baby, they aged her back down, removed all custom content from the baby, aged her up again, and still the issue remained. The player reports that it may be a mod or piece of custom content, as the issue persists with another adult Sim.
Nikki even tried to delete the adult Sim through a mod, but to their dismay, the Sim refused to die! Void Sims are truly another breed of Sim. Some commenters joked that it was the debug baby, which is also pitch black and equally creepy to find. Others joked that the void Sims are a new type of occult! Wouldn’t that be fun?
In any case, we’re not quite sure what is causing this visual glitch or how to fix it. It would appear that this player is out of luck finding a fix. It could be outdated custom content like skin overlays or even glitched tattoos. Even repairing the game could help with issues like these. In this player’s case, it is most likely outdated skin overlays. The best way to find out is the 50/50 method of removing your custom content from your Mods folder and launching the game. Dag dag!
