Sometimes the game glitches in the most interesting ways. Sometimes it’s babies turning into voids; sometimes it’s your Sims constantly getting abducted by aliens. Really, anything can happen in The Sims 4. And today, we’re focusing on a very wild bug.

Her teen Sim decided to make the imaginary friend real, and in doing so, the friend turned into three. But the kicker is that they’re not all exactly the same. Each friend has different traits and a different name. They were only physically identical. How strange!

Fearing that this was a bad omen for their Sims, the player decided to just go ahead and delete them all, claiming that they brought negative energy to the home. We can’t say we blame them, either! It is a little spooky to have your imaginary friend suddenly turn into three.
Others joked that there had always been three, and the friends were just trading shifts to be friends with the Sim the entire time. Can you imagine? Your entire life being a lie! While that scenario is highly unlikely, it is fun to theorize. In reality, it was only a bug that caused the friends to triplicate. Maybe deleting them was the best choice to eliminate the bug after all. Dag dag!
