The Modern Retreat Kit was released on November 13th with the Garden to Table Kit. The November Sims 4 kits offer build mode items with a modern nature aesthetic. Each of these kits has different styles, but also match each other quite well.

What is in the Kit

The Modern Retreat Kit comes with twenty-five items. These items are designed to pair well with the outdoor activities as a comfortable connection to relax on a retreat. There are a lot of natural elements in the textures and swatch colors for many of the items. The wood on the bookshelves and latticework is very detailed, and the other elements of this kit also pair well with this. It is a mix between modern luxury and nature indoors when including the clean, sleek, but natural style and the nature-themed art deco pieces.
Images of Items in the Kit

There are a variety of natural and light pastel swatches to choose from with the couches, and I can see a lot of Simmers using these. I typically love things to match, but in this case, with the lighter colors, I enjoy the mixing and matching with this kit. There is a lot you can do with the swatches, and it was a lot of fun.
Can we talk about this wooden texture and design, and how lovely it is? Yeah, the more items in a kit I will actually use. But don’t worry, we still need CC, look at all those surfaces we can cover with decor and clutter!
Final Thoughts

I really like the wooden lattice wall and the fireplace a lot. Even the new plant and birds are super cute. There is also a mini drink tray; really, this kit has a lot of things that your Sim will need if they want to relax from their nature retreat in luxury. Seeing the pitch of the kit stating it was framing nature, I was anticipating a wall decoration or painting. I feel like a nice modern art piece with nature as inspiration would have tied this all together nicely. Aside from that, I have no complaints.
