Who is ready to look at the two new Summer Sims 4 Kits. On May 30th, two new kits were released; the Riviera Retreat and the Cozy Bistro Kits. Unlike most double kit drops both of these Kits feature building and object content, no Create a Sim content this round. But an Expansion Pack is around the corner, so we will see loads more EA Content soon! So let’s take a look at these Summer Sims 4 Kits and see what they look like!
Riviera Retreat
If you are looking for beautiful poolside or waterfall romance this kit has lovely objects perfect for setting the mood. The style of the items in this Summer Sims 4 Kit is rustic and earthy. This Kit definitely has a lovely rustic Summer vibe that I love!

The Riviera Retreat comes with twenty-six items. The items included in this Summer Kit are a mix of build items and buy items. There are new floor tiles, pool trim, archway, and rocks. For buy items, there are new lights, loungers, chairs, tables, and a new plant! You also get new waterfalls which is a perfect addition to making romantic retreats have that extra element of landscaping!
Jezi’s Thoughts on the Riviera Retreat Kit
Out of the two Summer Sims 4 Kits, the Riviera Retreat Kit is by far my favorite. I like the poolside vibes and the style of the items in this pack has that nice rustic earthy vibe that I just love and a lot of the furniture and decor have dark-colored swatches to match my decorating style. I can’t wait to see what everyone creates with this kit!
Cozy Bistro Kit
The Cozy Bistro Kit is full of vintage and polished metal accents that you would find in a lounge, bar, or romantic outing. This kit has everything to make the perfect cafe or nectar bar and become the neighborhood’s favorite hangout.

In the Cozy Bistro Kit, there are twenty-seven items, and a mix between build and buy items. There is a new awning, door, archway, window, wall, and floor for building items. As well as a new bar, seating, nectar display, lighting, and decor items for the buy items.
Jezi’s Thoughts on the Cozy Bistro Kit
I feel that this set has a lot of functionality if you play with businesses or want a vintage-style dining room, bar, or kitchen. My favorite item from this set is the double door and matching window. For the vintage bistro style, these elements are perfect and I enjoy the frosted glass look to complete the vintage aesthetic.
Summary
Both of these Kits have very different styles of interior design options. The Riviera Retreat has an earthy and rustic aesthetic where as the Cozy Bistro has a vintage cafe or restaurant aesthetic. Both of these Kits offer a refresh of new styles to introduce into your game. I mean who does not want more waterfalls and more decor items? I do love a good themed pack or collection, so I enjoy the themed Kits. Overall I feel these Kits are both very useful for most players, if you do a lot of work on your outside areas the Riviera Retreat is quite lovely. And if you make a lot of community lots the Cozy Bistro is perfect for designing lovely cafes.
