It is summer here in the United States so we are looking at all the trending summer Colors! And since it is super hot here we are hitting the beach with Jayden and her friends to check out some of the super trendy swimwear here at TSR! Summer 2024 has loads of colors so the following are a brief highlight as I found over thirty trending summer colors for this year! So let’s get ready to hit the beach and catch some rays!

Summer Fashion
CC Highlights – FAcial Hair, Top, Shoes, & Shorts
Summer fashion usually involves vibrant or tropical prints and bright colors. Specific pieces of summer attire are; swimwear, shorts, light tops, crop tops, skirts, maxi dresses, and anything that breathes nicely as it gets hot here in the Summer. Of course, some places are tropical all year round like Sulani! Of course, these summer colors and styles are also perfect for tropical areas all year round.
Traditional Summer Colors
Traditional summer colors are usually bright or white is often seen in summer fashion. Just like Fall is more natural and darker tones, spring we see more pastels, and summer is vibrant and fun reflecting the season and the sun! So we are going to go one trending color at a time and see what I can find to match here at TSR! Loads of swimwear coming your way so let’s dive in!
Brilliant White

There is just something classic about a white swimsuit. So when I saw this bikini by Joan Campbell Beauty. I knew it was perfect for Kendall. Kendall is bold and super trendy so this was the swimsuit for her! There is no shortage of lovely white swimwear on TSR, so get your basket ready!
Horizon Blue
CC Highlights – Hairstyle & Bikini
Obviously with a lot of folks going to the beach on holiday blues are a popular color. Blue is a perfect color for a swimsuit. I absolutely love this pattern and it shows off a lot of fun shades of blue. Horizon blue would be the darker shade of blue in this two-piece swimsuit and Sunny looks amazing in blue!
Sun Orange
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Bikini, Belly Ring, & Toe Rings
I am not usually a fan of bright colors but this Sun Orange two-piece on Jayden is absolutely stunning! Jayden can rock a lot of styles so I wanted to showcase as many different and unique swimsuit styles as possible. I absolutely love the slits on the sides of the bottoms and the twist top. Also, the patterned bottom with the solid-colored top makes the set super fun!
Sunshine Yellow
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Swimsuit, Skin, Skin Detail (Nose), Contour, & Necklace
Ah look we have a pattern here… Sunshine Yellow after Sun Orange. Summer is usually a bright and Sunny time so there is no wonder why these colors are inspired by sunshine colors! Evelyn is rocking this bright monokini and definitely turning up the heat at the beach!
Deep Purple & Rich Orchid
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, trunks, Skin, & Glasses
I saw this pattern and knew it was perfect for our purple shades as it has two right in it! I may be a bit biased as I designed this Sim, but Devon looks great in purple! So I knew I had to have him model the shades of deep purple and rich orchid!
Mint Pastel 
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Bikini Set, & Contour
This two-piece swimsuit set is super fun! I absolutely love the vibrance of mint pastel as a color, it is a pastel but it is also very bright, and for a Sim who is always trying new styles and rocking aesthetics, I knew this swimsuit by SL_CCSIMS was perfect for Snow!
2024 Summer Colors
There are a couple of summer colors for 2024 that surprised me a bit, so I have separated them into a different section from the traditional summer colors. A few of these I saw more as spring colors as they are light pastels, and then there is, the Bistro Green that I see more as a Fall color, regardless these are the trending colors for summer 2024.
Bristo Green
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Bikini Top, Bikini Bottom, Skin Detail Nose), Eyelashes, & nails
Bistro Green is a lovely rich shade of dark green. I saw it in the trending summer colors list and I was a little confused as I would imagine this color to be more around during fall. However after I paired this bandeau swim top with the palm bottoms, I instantly realized why it worked so well! The deep green totally matches palm trees!
Sky Blue
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Top, Trunks, Skin, & Glasses
Sky Blue is not much of a shocking color to be in summer styles, however, I just consider it to be more of a spring color over summer. But I guess you don’t really have to pick if it works for both. I decided to give Vin a nice seaside trendy style while showcasing these sky blue shorts and I absolutely love the final look!
Silver Moon
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Bikini top, Skirt, Skin Detail, Nails, & Belly Ring
Silver Moon or really grays are generally trending in some capacity all year round, however, I did not expect this shade in for summer colors. Am I mad about it… not at all. This outfit and color are absolutely stunning on Evelyn! This is one of my favorite looks in the entire blog!
Still Trending
Three particular colors have been trending since the fall of 2023. As this is our fourth color blog I wanted to bring them back out into swimwear, just in case they disappear in fall 2024 trends. Gold and red I don’t see going anywhere… but maybe the Color of the Year will not be trending then, who knows anything is possible!
Liquid Gold
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Bikini Top, Bikini Bottoms & sarong, & Nails
Obviously, since Jayden is the main Sim of this household and a total girl boss I had to put her in the Liquid Gold and make sure to add some gold accessories. Regrettably, I need to reinstall some CC so she is not in her full ensemble and still looks great!
Cherry Red
CC Highlights – Hairstyle, Swimsuit, Bracelet, & Glasses
In my opinion, you can never go wrong with a cherry red swimsuit. This particular monokini is something I would totally wear IRL so yes I love it! Snow is looking amazing at the beach even tho they do not like to go out all that much! But hey, when with Jayden you might as well look trendy too!
Peach Fuzz
CC Highlights – Hairstyle & Skin
And finally, we have the 2024 Pantone Color of the Year, Peach Fuzz. And yes those are Maxis Speedos! I figured I’d throw in some variety for everyone! And yes we do have speedos at TSR so don’t worry plenty of those here as well! But I think Carlos pulls off this peach tone very well for our final summer color!
Final Thoughts
I absolutely love finding all these trends for you all to enjoy! Summer colors for 2024 have been super fun and have loads of variety! I am also going to start using this household a bit more as they are pro models 😉 I mean who wouldn’t be with CC and poses from TSR!

Also, the outtakes of this group of Sims are entirely ridiculous and very classic Sims. During the time I was taking photos, Vin caught himself on fire and I caught them in the ocean on their phone… Never a dull moment and that is what I love the most about the Sims! Happy Downloading!
