Welcome back to The Sims Resource! Today we’re showing off some of the most fabulous Spring Break fashions for 2023! Let’s check out all the trending pieces for your Sims’ vacations to Sulani or Selvadorada. We’re going to start off with some casual beach or pool day looks and then move on to some super cute nightlife outfits.
Welcome to the Jungle
Hair | Heels | Glasses | Bathing Suit |
Nails | Eyeliner | Lipstick | Eyeshadow |
Who doesn’t love a plant patterned bathing suit? I knew this look was making it into the lookbook as soon as I realized it reminded me of the iconic JLo Versace dress. If you don’t know, go look it up – it’s a total slay, and this bathing suit is reminiscent of it while also being wearable (though if the creator wanted to make an accessory cover up or cape, I certainly would not complain!). The perfect way to finish up a pool or beach day is a sleek half-up hairdo and some oversized sunglasses and some absolutely adorable platform sandals to dress up the look. IRL, I would never wear this suit to actually swim in, but it’s a perfect look for lounging by the pool, which is what my Sims do most of the time anyway.
Pretty in Plaid
Hair | Top | Bottom | Shoes |
Nails | Eyeliner | Lipstick | Eyeshadow |
I love pastels, and I love plaid. As soon as I saw this set, I knew it was perfect for a chill beach or lounge day! There’s something very underrated about being covered up when it’s super sunny out. First of all, avoiding sunburn is always great (or even just avoiding having to apply a ton of sunscreen every few hours). Also, if you’ve never worn super light, flowy pants on a hot summer day, they’re super comfy and so breezy and easy to wear. Pair them with a matching top and you’re set for the ultimate chill day that can also take you from the beach to a restaurant for lunch or dinner.
Pink and Polished
Hair | Bathing Suit | Earrings | Shoes |
Eyeliner | Lipgloss | Eyeshadow | Nails |
This little pink two piece is absolutely adorable! The pattern is cute without being too “kiddie”, and the small cutout details on the sides are totally on trend. I went with a really long, sleek hairstyle for this look, because I think it looks really pretty with the minimal styling. Very “I woke up like this”, though you know if it was a really hot day that hair would be up in a messy bun the minute the sun got too hot (lol). I finished the look with some really cute platform flip flops, which I’m so happy to see are back in style–just be careful wearing them on grass!
Beach Day Slay
Hair | Top | Bottom | Shoes |
Eyeliner | Eyeshadow | Lipstick | Nails |
This is a very classic beach look. A pair of cutoff jean shorts paired with a bathing suit top is always going to be a super easy look for a beach day, and I’m so glad I found this absolutely adorable set to feature! I glammed it up a little bit with some color coordinated makeup – I think my Sim looks very pretty in pink, and that goes for her makeup as well as her ‘fit. Once again, the look is complete with another platform sandal, this time the always iconic slide – those of you who played sports growing up know what I’m talking about.
Crochet Day
Hair | Top | Bottom | Shoes |
Eyeliner | Eyeshadow | Lipstick | Nails |
Crochet is trending again, and I’m so happy to see it! I’m still a beginner, but I’m dreaming of being able to create a set of separates as cute as the one here. The bright colors are so pretty and would look especially amazing in mood lighting at different restaurants and lounges. More platform sandals here (they’re majorly trending right now!) to add a little height to the look. I finished off the outfit with a big, voluminous half up look paired with a lip stain that matches the outfit.
Heart of the Ocean
Hair | Top | Bottom |
Shoes | Eyeliner | Eyeshadow |
Lipstick | Nails | Necklace |
As soon as I saw this set, I absolutely knew it was going in the lookbook. Just LOOK at that beautiful blue color and how it pops on the model. I matched a necklace with a blue gem to the set (which made me think of Titanic, hence this look’s name). I chose a great updo to help ‘dress up’ the look, though there are a few strands left out in front to keep it just a little casual. The white sandals are what completes the look, and this Sim is ready to show off her look on the town!
Canadian Tuxedo
Hair | Top | Bottom |
Eyeliner | Eyeshadow | Lipstick |
Shoes | Nails | Necklace |
Listen, I love that all denim looks (also known as Canadian tuxedos) are finally back in style. The easiest thing in the world to match is denim on denim, and I stand by that! This look had my heart with its 90s vibes and the fact that queen of all queens Keke Palmer recently wore a pretty similar look during a TV appearance. The sleek bob makes the denim look less casual and more intentional, and the same goes for the totally fabulous heels.
Pastel Princess
Hair | Top | Bottom |
Shoes | Eyeliner | Eyeshadow |
Lipstick | Nails | Necklace |
Y’all already know I love a pastel. I really love midi skirts, too – this outfit was destined to happen, especially when I found a CORSET TOP to add to the look. This is like all of my favorite trends in one outfit and I’m so glad I could make it happen! It even has a little sweater around the waist in case your Sim gets a little chilly while they’re out and about.
