What’s with random Sims calling all the time? Getting calls from Sims all the time is so odd! Who gave you my number? And why do they insist on updating us about their personal lives? “Me and __ went on a date last night”. “I’m now friends with __”. “I just married __”. Who even are you?! Get off the phone, please.
Unsolicited Calls
No save is safe from these unwanted life updates! They call and call, sharing details that your Sims truly don’t care about. For example, thaliathraben went through the same thing with their Sim, Trey. “Hey Trey, I wanted to let you know that Keala and I are now friends!” They’ve never met this Sim before, or even the Sim that they’re calling to tell about! At this point, could they be considered spam texts? Put that text straight in the bin!

What is with this odd behavior? Get a hobby, random Sim! Our Sims aren’t interested in what you have to say. Why do they do this? Neighborhood Stories? Random autonomy? A deep, desperate need for attention? Whatever the cause, it’s getting old! Honestly, it’s starting to feel like these Sims find our numbers through mutual friends behind the scenes, searching desperately for friends.
One moment, your Sim is minding their own business. The next? You’re receiving a call from a Sim you’ve never met or hardly know. They want to tell you all about their new friendship, or new marriage, or whatever they can think of. Congrats, we guess? These unsolicited life updates have finally crossed the “please stop contacting us” stage. We think The Sims 4 needs a block list. Dag Dag!
