Features Brought By Spellcasters

In this guide, we’re taking a look at Spellcasters. What do they add to The Sims 4? Are they fun to play with? What features do they bring to the game? We’ll break down how the pack shapes gameplay and which players will get the most out of it. So without further ado, let’s get to it!
With Realm of Magic, players can create a new occult called Spellcasters. They’re very similar to Witches from The Sims 3: Supernatural. Spellcasters can learn and practice magic spells and brew mysterious potions. This occult, unlike the other occults, does not have a second form. They do, however, have a spellbook. Spellbooks track every spell the Sim learns. You can unlock 24 spells, each sorted into three types: Practical, Mischief, and Untamed magic. Reading tomes, dueling other spellcasters, asking a Sage, or practicing music can unlock the spells.
Realm of Magic adds cauldrons, magic brooms, and wands, allowing Sims to fully embody the whimsy of spellcasting. It also introduces three hereditary traits: Weak Bloodline, Strong Bloodline, and Ancient Bloodline. These traits do not appear in Create a Sim. They are passed down through family lines. This pack adds 2 new aspirations: Spellcraft & Sorcery and Purveyor of Potions.
Spellcaster Sims can summon something called a familiar. What is a familiar? They are creatures that serve as companions to Spellcasters. A Spellcaster can have ravens, phoenixes, or even cats and dogs as a familiar. Spellcasters can collect as many familiars as they want, but they can only summon one familiar at a time.
The World of Realm of Magic

Realm of Magic brings Glimmerbrook into The Sims 4 as a magical, fantastical forest-covered mountain world. It’s a small world, though its scenery is stunning. Beyond Glimmerbrook’s forests, there’s a floating, fantastical neighborhood where Sims can buy brooms, magic books, and new wands.
In Glimmerbrook, Sages like L. Faba, Morgyn Ember, and Simeon Silversweater can train Spellcasters. Three retired Sages are Keisha Hughes, Tess Dyer, and Ethren Reyes. These Sims can teach your Spellcaster how to unlock spells, duel, and brew potions.
To build mystical homes in Glimmerbrook, you have 79 Build/Buy items to choose from. From cauldrons to occult decor, you can build the perfect home for a Spellcaster. To create the perfect Spellcaster, there are 56 Create a Sim items to work with.

Those who adore the occult will enjoy this pack. However, if you don’t find the occult appealing, this pack isn’t recommended. Still, if you’re out to collect all the occult, this pack is entertaining. For 19.99 USD, we say the pack is worth buying.
