Patch Announcement
Buckle in, everyone. We’re getting another patch update tomorrow, on February 19th. Yes, yes, we know. Another update. We know everyone is tired, especially for those of us who mod The Sims 4. What is it this time, you may ask?
Not to worry. This patch should be very small, as it focuses on issues with the game freezing when Sims get married. What an odd bug. It will also fix additional issues that players are experiencing with the Family Tree feature.
Thank you to user PureWinner9639, who created this screenshot of the information provided by Sir Simsly!
It seems as though this pack will not break saves or break many mods, but let’s cross our fingers, just in case. You never know what these updates can break mod-wise. If you wish to not update your game, we have a solution for that.
If using the EA app, simply go to the top left corner where the 3 lines are, click those 3 lines, and click Go Offline! Now, if you’re using Steam, it’s the exact same! As Steam uses EA to launch, make sure to do what was listed above! Sometimes, waiting to see what a patch does instead of updating automatically can save you from any errors or broken mods!
