Another Month and more New Marketplace DLC content, so we are taking a look at what was new for July in The Sims 4 Marketplace. For starters, the Marketplace is now on the web with a new website. So now you don’t have to go all the way into the game to check out the Marketplace. Which is great because that makes it much easier to stay up to date on what is new in the Marketplace.

What is The Marketplace
The Marketplace is EA/The Sims DLC purchase portal and now website. There are approved ‘Makers’ or Custom Content (CC) Creators who post their Packs, which are all EA-approved for purchase on the portal. The Marketplace can be accessed directly in-game, so it can be quite convenient to use as the items are instantly available for your gameplay. However, there is a lot of controversy with the Sims Community and the Marketplace, which you can read about HERE.
What is New for July
Alright, without further ado, let’s take a look at everything that I can find that is New for July in The Sims 4 Marketplace. Please note that the Maker Packs that show ‘Moola’ are purchaseable via real-life currency. I have also notated the free items as of now, which could change at any time.

Final Thoughts
The Marketplace is still a very controversial topic, even though it has been out for months. I am not entirely for the Marketplace system for The Sims 4; I do remember something similar for The Sims 3, and I bought everything. While it is nice to get items in the game, I feel I have invested enough over time for The Sims that paying more is unnecessary. However, I do like that it supports creators and I do like that more free items are offered, so there is a both giving free content to the community and creator support.
