Normally, I wait until the end of the month to go over all the new content from the Marketplace, but over the last week, there have been 6 brand-new Maker Packs. You read that right; it is raining DLC in the Marketplace.

Now on to the Maker Packs…
Soft Balance Makers Pack
Soft Balance by Comiko features 10 Build/Buy objects for 200 Moola. The theme is Modern Contemporary Living Room furniture with a little bit of what I think is a minimalist and coastal asethetic to the pack. The fabric tones are very coastal with the blues, whites, creams mixing well with the wood furniture. There is also some contemporary wall art that definately looks like it is a wave or some form of beach design.
Manicure Ritual Maker Pack
Arlight next up we have Manicure Ritual by Bostyny, I don’t normally do this but, this particular Maker Pack I immediately purchased. The Manicure Ritual Maker Pack has 16 build/buy items for a moden day nail studio and is 300 Moola. I am a sucker for cutter in my small business lots and even though I have oodle of nail salon CC, I wanted this as well.
Cozy Cottage Maker Pack
The Cozy Cottage by Kerriganhouse is super adorable! The images feature an entry way or sitting area, however the 18 build/buy items can work for so many areas in your Sims lots. This Maker Pack is 400 Moola for the 18 items. This one is deffinately on my to buy list as I love that upcycled rustic cottage look and I am a sucker for anything that comes with plants… And this Maker Pack comes with a shelf that has a hanging plant on it, that is like bonus for me.
Josephine Set Maker Pack
Just released yesterday… I think I was just on the Marketplace yesterday and the day before and it all happened so fast… Anyways on to the Josephine Set by Mechtasims which features a soft, cute, and comfy desk space for your Sims. This is most definately timed for back to school as it is been advertised with 2 other Maker Packs as ‘Flashback to School.’ This pack has 10 build/buy items including a decently spacious desk for 200 Moola.
Replay Hair Set by Madlen
The Replay Hair Set by Madlen comes with 6 new CAS hairstyles for your female Sims for 300 Moola. This is another Pack on my to buy list, I think the haitstyles provide a great deal of variety and are perfect trendy hairstyles for Teen Sims and even Yount Adult, Adult, and Elder Sims. This Maker Pack is also in the ‘Flashback to School’ advertising. Being 100% transparent, I buy Madlen’s Packs always as I am and have been avid user of Madlen CC since the early days here on TSR. But this is also a lovely CAS Pack, so even if it was not made by Madlen, I would still purchase it.
Dear Diary Bedroom by ViliaSims
The Dear Diary Bedroom by ValiaSims aims to be the perfect place for your Teen Sims. This Makers Pack fetures 14 build/buy items for 300 Moola. The Dear Diary Bedroom comes with a canopy bed, 2 hanging light fixtures, dressers, amiors and other items that are perfect for a teen’s room. Why is this so perfect.. well.. its clean, cute, cozy, but everything is not 100% fully put away, the slightly messy drawers and clutter deffinately sell this from a clean and asethetic to actually lived in and used.
Final Thoughts
The Sims 4 Marketplace is really starting to feel like the Sims 3’s version of DLC Marketplace. I don’t remember what it was called, but eventually I purchased everything and it would seem very quickly I am getting there again. At first, I was like “I don’t need anything but CC.” And now some of my favorite creators have Maker Packs, its become a game of Pokemon….
Someone take my internet shopping privilages away from me! I have only about 26 more to buy and I own 33? My counting may be off but after earlier this week I am ahead… or is it behind because I spent money… ohh that sounds like a lot.. More and more keep coming out now more frequent than weekly it seems.
