Friends come in all shapes and sizes. Human or animal. And sometimes, even ghosts! What do you do when your child Sim comes home with a new ghost friend? On the way home from school, did your child stop by the local graveyard to make a new friend? A Sims 4 Ghost friend is probably always shocking to parents, but honestly seems so Sims.

Making friends can be hard for some Sims. You say the wrong thing, and you lose friendship points with the potential friend. Sometimes the personalities just aren’t compatible. Some relationships don’t make it past the acquaintance phase. Thankfully, ghosts tend to be a bit more forgiving, second chances and all.
Friendships can begin in the most unexpected ways. A visit to a graveyard, a walk through a haunted lot, or a chance encounter with a friendly neighborhood spirit. While other children do normal kid activities, like playing on the playground or trading collectibles, this Sim talks to ghosts.
Reddit user u/xutachii‘s child Sim may be a bit of an oddball. But honestly, aren’t most Sims? However, we don’t think most Sims bring home ghosts after school. How did the parents react? Parents would have a good reason to find their child playing dolls with a ghost very concerning.
However weird it is for the parents to watch their little one befriend the dead, we think there might be some appeal to a ghost friend. They can’t die, so your child Sim can’t lose them! They’re forever friends! That is, until your Sim grows up and no longer wants to be friends with a kid.
