Items always seem to go missing, and this time in The Sims 4,one. A floating guitar. A Sim pulls it from their inventory, sets it down somewhere, and forgets about it. Now you’re left with a random item in the middle of nowhere that your Sim can’t even pick up! These Sims need to learn to pick up after themselves.
Lost At Sea
Sometimes, items end up in places they don’t belong. Like in Reddit user u/mangorefresherfan‘s save, where a Sim left their guitar out on the ocean. Not on the shore, not on the beach, but directly on the crystal waters of Salani. What Sims magic is keeping it sitting on the water? Must be some sort of mermaid magic.

Mermaid magic or not, a guitar is just hanging out in the ocean, waiting for its owner to claim it. In the meantime, local marine life might pick up a new skill: music. If Nemo could talk, surely a dolphin could play the blues. OP’s Sim, a lovely mermaid, watches over the guitar, waiting for the owner to return and claim it. We wouldn’t hold our breath, though; they may never come back for it.
Another item abandoned by its owner, left to rot. That isn’t good for Sulani’s t! Even the wildlife in The Sims can’t escape litter. With mystical mermaid magic at their fingertips, we say that OP should have their mermaid teach litterers a lesson. Leave your item lying around, and you’ll be dragged underwater until you learn your lesson.
