When You Misclick and Accidentally Delete A Household
You’re playing The Sims 4 blissfully. Clicking away at households, moving them around as you please. You click on a household and move it. A few days pass. Hey, where are those Sims you moved?? Aw, crap. You deleted it. And you’ve passed too many saves to even be able to get them back through a previous save.
It happens to the best of us. Sometimes we’re in a rush, not realizing what we’re clicking. That is what happened to TheUtopianCat over on r/Sims4 who was just trying to move their Sims into another household. And now it is too late for them to get the household back. Let’s take a moment of silence for those Sims lost to the void.

Unfortunately, there is nothing this player can do, other than mourn their lost Sims, and pray that it never happens again. As a warning for the future for those reading, always back up your saves. Especially the ones you devote a lot of time too. It’s better safe than sorry. Everyone makes mistakes and it’s only a matter of time before the same can happen to you, reader. So please, be careful, stay mindful, and create backups so you don’t lose your Sims to the void. Dag dag!
