The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 Have Officially Been Re-Released!

After months of speculation, leaks, and rumours, EA has officially dropped the re-release of The Sims 1 and The Sims 2! This exciting news comes as part of The Sims’ 25th Anniversary celebrations, bringing back two of the most beloved games in the franchise.

  • The Sims 2 FreeTime

The Sims Legacy Collection – £17.99

The Sims 2 Legacy Collection – £24.99

Windows-Only (For Now)

As previously reported in leaks, the re-releases is only for Windows 10 and Windows 11. There is no mention of Mac compatibility at this time, or console.

When Can We Play?

NOW! They are officially up on EA Play as well as other stores. What are you waiting for?!

Will our Beloved CC Work?

No idea. I’m off to check this immediately! 😉

Final Thoughts

This re-release marks a major moment in The Sims history, giving players a chance to experience the iconic games that started it all. While questions remain about mod compatibility and where the franchise is headed overall, one thing is certain—The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 are officially back!
