Just because I know you all are super excited to see these items, let’s check out what these new September Sim Kits offer!
The Sims 4 Storybook Nursery Kit
This Storybook Nursery Kit is all about creating a space for your newborns, infants, and toddlers that is full of elegance to start their story. This kit collaborated with SixamCC and definitely elevates this pack’s charm. The items are designed with a theme that could tell a story about how the items were passed down from generation to generation. Or maybe you just want to spoil your little ones with an elegant storybook-themed room.
The Items

The Storybook Nursery Kit contains twenty-three items. I am very impressed with the level of detail these items provide. They all match the theme quite nicely. These items also have some lovely color swatches with a good variety.
You probably think Jezi likes it because the dark swatches look vintage and goth. This is primarily true, but I adore that purple and lavender swatch on the rocking chair and the pastel-yellow changing table. All that time ago, this would have been perfect for my One Color Decor Challenge—Yellow Toddlers’ Bedroom!
There are loads of cute little animals in the designs that surprisingly pair well with the more vintage styles. Who knew llamas and sloths could look so good with vintage furniture? It’s totally something I could see in a nursery from a storybook!

The Sims 4 Artist Studio Kit
I have found that the game lacks the opportunity with art content: no kits or packs have been devoted to an art studio until now. Sure, plenty of CC is out there, but nothing official has happened until now. The Artist Studio Kit was released yesterday. It is full of items to send your Sims on an artistic adventure. This kit lets your Sims decorate a dedicated place to let creativity flow!
The Items
The kits have totally different themes, and I love them. This gives Simmers so much more range with the kits. And if you don’t feel you need it, you don’t have to buy it. I am all about options, so I am enjoying these two kits. The Artist Studio kit has a total of twenty-four items. Each item is themed around things you would find in an Artist’s studio. Which is something we needed for our game.
The big wins in this kit are the new easel, the plants, and the decorative paint splatters for the floor. I cannot imagine an art space without some paint on the floor, so these are perfect. You can layer them, giving your Sims’ floors the complete artist studio look.
There are also loads of clutter and decor items that would be found in an artist’s studio. I obviously adore the new plants, but we already know this!

Summary
These September Sim Kits definitely add a lot of options to your game! I personally think both were most definitely needed. I know many Simmers are not fond of the idea of Kits. However, I like the consistent theme and usability of these two Kits. The September Sim Kits have much to offer, and I recommend both as a Simmer.
So, out of both kits, my favorite item is the dollhouse. Not only is it absolutely stunning, but I am pretty sure it represents the Goth house—who just happen to be my favorite townies!
Aside from the dollhouse, I love the easter eggs in the Storybook Nursery Kit. There are at least three that tie directly to the Goths. I also speculate that the child portrait is none other than Alexander or Mortimer Goth. There is also a book on the bookshelf with Bella’s photo on the cover.
I cannot wait to see the cute Storybook-themed nurseries and artist nooks that Simmers will create with these new items!
