Marriage is a sacred ceremony where two people unite their lives. But in The Sims 4? Marriage is more like a comedy show… welcome to yet another Sims 4 wedding disaster. We haven’t yet seen a wedding ceremony that isn’t a total disaster. And this wedding ceremony by Reddit user u/Calm-Self-1145 is no different!
Vlad The Diva
Most weddings in The Sims end in disaster. Usually, it’s because someone dies. There’s just something about weddings that makes Sims want to die and ruin the ceremony. They could literally die anywhere else, but they choose a wedding? Rude! Some Sims are so selfish. They just make everything about themselves. There are a few repeat offenders when it comes to dying at weddings. For example, Vladislaus Straud.
We know, we know. It always comes back to Vlad. He’s such a diva, isn’t he? You try to be nice and invite him to your wedding, and he decides to go off and die! Like we said, this isn’t his first time! How many weddings has he crashed?! Let’s put it this way: if I had a nickel for every time Vlad has died at a wedding, we’d have at least 50 cents!
A Tale of Marriage And Death
Let’s rewind to the beginning of this tale. Bella Goth and Aiden Vatore (Caleb Vatore’s son) were getting married! They’re exchanging vows; the guests watch as they say their “I do’s.” It’s a beautiful moment between the groom and bride. Right? Wrong. Vlad’s in the back, burning to a crisp. Sir, do you not own an umbrella? Get it together!
Of course, a dying Sim draws the guests’ eyes from the lovely couple to the idiot vampire who forgets he’s deathly allergic to the sun. He goes out dramatically, falling to his knees, body ablaze. Guests watch the unfolding scene, completely in shocked awe. Vlad was a car crash of a Sim, and they couldn’t look away. An absolute Sims 4 wedding disaster.
Grim arrives to do his duty and harvest the fallen Sim’s soul. As Grim types information into his tablet, a Sim approaches. Aaliyah, one of OP’s Sims, begs for Vlad’s life. Alas, she was unsuccessful. Grim spared her a pitying look and continued his duty, swiping his scythe and ending Vladislaus Straud’s life.
Well, that’s an average wedding in The Sims! Someone always dies, crashes the party, or upstages your Sims. At least everyone got to see what they came for. A union between two souls.
