Fires are an absolute catastrophe in The Sims 4. They start off by simply making a grilled cheese, and the next thing you know, half their house is ablaze. You have them call the firefighters, too scared that your idiot Sim will go up in flames if they try to fight the fire themselves. But what happens when the Sims sworn to protect ours meet a fiery end?
A Fiery End
Scrolling through r/Sims4 is always a chaotic ride through players’ saves. While scrolling, we came across the post from TomasZirak, and it was truly one of those chaotic Sim moments. The firefighters barge in, prepared to do their sworn duty. They fought the flames bravely but were overtaken, sent to Grim prematurely.
These firefighters never expected that answering this house fire would end in their demise. They arrived at the scene of the fire, ready to do their jobs. However, these emergency responders weren’t ready for the strength of the flames. The fire overtook them while Vlad and an alien just stood there, watching. Grim quickly arrived at the scene, ready to reap the souls of these poor Sims who were just trying to do their jobs.
This isn’t the first time that firefighters have died to the flames. Many other firefighters have met their demise fighting the flames. Maybe investing in a sprinkler system is the best move. While we do feel sort of bad for the fallen firefighters, we have to admit it is pretty ironic. We’d say that they’re fired, but maybe now isn’t the time.
However, we can’t help but notice something odd. Really odd. This dramatic scene takes place in Vladislaus Straud’s kitchen. Why would a vampire need a kitchen? Mr. Straud has quite the history of nefarious actions. Was this Vlad’s plan to watch human suffering? He is an evil Sim, after all. It would be no surprise to those who know Vladislaus. Did Vlad cause the fire to end the lives of humans? We’ll never know, but we’re onto you, Vlad.
