Sometimes we humans pick jobs that we’re not quite qualified for. Sims are no different. They rush into a job, thinking that they can get a promotion on the same day. And this Sim we’re talking about today is no different from the rest. This Sim is a firefighter who was apparently very unqualified, as he died in a fire. Isn’t your whole job putting out fires? Was the training not provided to you on the job?
Apparently not, as he died from the very flames he swore to put out. How tragically ironic. Embarrased-Round344 posted this tragic moment to r/Sims4, sharing the irony of a firefighter dying on the job. We don’t think we have ever witnessed a firefighter die on the job. Seriously, that should be some sort of twisted achievement you can unlock without knowing until the moment it happens.

Honestly, we can’t really blame this poor guy for his death. From the looks of it, the fire was just too strong. The entire kitchen was on fire. He really never stood a chance against the flames devouring the kitchen. Sometimes even Sims who swear to fight fires end up becoming a part of the ashes. Poor guy. We hope he doesn’t have a family at home, waiting for his return. We’ll never know why the flames decided to take him. After all, was he underskilled, unable to get his athletic skill up in time for the day? Maybe we’re being too harsh on him. Then again, maybe he was skilled enough, and the fires claimed him regardless of his skill. It’s possible he died a hero. Dag Dag!
