One of the standards of The Sims franchise is that it has always come with very publicly shared cheats. That’s right, it is almost like we are encouraged to cheat in The Sims. And not to mention, in my experience, it is more common to find Simmers who use cheats than those who don’t. So let’s get down to the real reason you are here… You want your Sims to have that mansion, right? But get it by never leaving the lot for work… Well, it is very possible and all too easy to achieve, so let’s take a look and learn these easy sims 4 money cheats.
How to Cheat
For the first step, you are going to need to enable cheats and be able to open your cheat window.
To enter any of these cheat codes, you first need to pull up the text box to enter the codes into the game. On your keyboard, press CTRL + Shift + C (PC) or Command + Shift + C (Mac), or L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 (PlayStation/Xbox) to bring up the text box; this is where you will enter any text string cheats.
Inside the text box, type in testingcheats. This cheat turns on many of the other cheats. Without it, some cheats will not work.
Now, once you have that text box up, you need to enable cheats by typing in the text box testingcheats true or testingcheats on (both work the same and allow you to insert cheats).
Get that Bank
Alright, now that we have our cheats on, we are ready to make your Sims RICCHHHHH. Well, it is all you want to do really, but a lifetime of wealth can be granted in a mere few seconds. Or… you can be conservative and just give yourself a boost.
Kaching/Rosebud
Typing Kaching or Rosebud into the cheat text box will give you that boost I was talking about for $1,000 Simoleons. If you are trying not to cheat too much or just giving yourself a quick boost, this is a nice option.
Motherlode
Not enough Simoleons for you? Not a problem; we can go bigger with Motherlode for $50,000 Simoleons, and you can use it multiple times.
Set Money
If you have a goal in mind or you don’t want to keep typing Kaching, Rosebud, or Motherlode, there is always Money #. All you need to do is change the # to the desired number you require; whether it be $999,999 Simoleons or setting your balance to 1 Simoleon, you can do either and really anything else up to $9,999,999 Simoleons.
Free Real Estate
Now, finally, if you already built the mansion but need to acquire it, you can just purchase it for free using the FreeRealEstate cheat, which gives you 100% Free housing. All you do is open the cheat text box when you are shopping for a new lot.
