You hire a service in The Sims expecting quality performance. But what happens when the service you hired dies mid-service? Well, that is exactly what happened to florahora.
Over on r/thesims, florahora hired a caterer to cook in their home, but during the service, the caterer died! Talk about getting out of doing your job. It’s just so hard to get good help these days! As annoyingly tragic as it is, it isn’t a huge loss for OP, though they should probably receive a refund for the service. Even in The Sims, tragedy is unavoidable, though it’s wildly amusing in-game.

Time to hire a new caterer, or maybe just stick to cooking your own meals in case this happens again. At least your Sim won’t cook a hundred cakes and leave bowls of batter for you to clean up after the event. Caterers in The Sims aren’t the most considerate when it comes to cleaning up after themselves, and they definitely don’t offer a large variety of menu options. It’s either four cakes or nothing. And then they dare to charge you so much money for their poor service! You and your Sim are better off without them.
We’re just joshing. They can absolutely come in handy when hosting large events, like weddings or get-togethers. They’re just not the best choice for intimate events, so don’t waste your simoleons! Dag dag!
