Brought to The Sims 4 by the Life & Death Expansion Pack is a ghostly child Sim named Edith. If you’ve encountered her, then you know just how much of a menace she can be. She can be especially annoying if you own the Business & Hobbies pack and you have a TV on the lot. Sims love to watch the Static Channel, which summons Edith. It causes a never-ending cycle of Sims getting terrified and passing out. So what happens when you try to remove her from your lot?
Edith Causes Chaos
Chaos is what happens. Pure chaos. SomeKindOfCreature attempted to keep Edith from spawning on their lot, but in the end, all it did was make matters worse. This user only wanted to run a laundromat, but of course, Sims couldn’t stay away from the Static Channel. They installed a mod meant to keep Edith away, but between this mod and MCCC by Deaderpool, she just walks up to the building normally. Tried installing the mods; she just walks up to the building normally. Tried to straight-up disable the Static Channel… tried; Edith prevailed. Not even disabling the Static Channel worked.
I tried installing a mod to disable Edith visits and only made her stronger.

Instead, it all made matters worse. Now instead of 1 Edith, there are 3! And one of them is severely deformed. Edith just can’t be beat. At this point, is it even a laundromat anymore? It feels more like a hotspot for ghosts.
How to Really Get Rid of Edith
What even can you do when not even mods work? The best move is to remove the TVs from the lot. Sims don’t need a TV. They can just sit there and watch their clothes washing! If you’re not looking to have Sims pee all over themselves and faint from terror, follow our advice and remove the TVs! It’ll save you in the long run. Unless you like playing the Sims 4 with Edith on your lot…Dag Dag!
