The Q&A That Changes Everything!
On the official Sims Discord was another Quality Assurance discussion that allowed players to express their worries and concerns! SimDevAlex answered many questions about what the Q&A team is and what they do. But they also told us a bit about the new Expansion Pack, and it gets messy!

Features And Fun!
Poly relationships, paternity fraud, and so much more! This is going to be a huge update and release for The Sims 4. If this is the last Expansion pack, they are surely going out with a bang! If not, I hope this is a future of some very interesting gameplay that doens’t require mods to achieve! Let’s break this down feature by feature.
- Ability to adopt adults
- Praternity fraud
- A ‘tax the rich’ burglar!
- Poly relationships and boundaries
- Pay to bury scandals or kiss a frog to worm your way out of it
- Designable crests!!
Whoa! This is a huge drop! As we’re not quite sure what adopting adults look like, we will patiently wait for more information on that, but that is a very interesting feature. We believe that this also means you can adopt teens now.
Praternity fraud is up next. Your Sim slept with the mailman, and you don’t want the “father” to know? No worries. They don’t have to know. It can be your little secret! Only those you tell will know. Everyone else will be blind to the truth…even if it’s obvious.
Our very own Robin Hood! He steals from the rich and gives to the needy. So if your Sim is sitting on a pile of gold, you may want to invest in some guards for an all day and night shift. Aloiso, our new Robin Hood, has the ‘tax the rich’ mentality. So if your sim is living with low income, they’ll love them. The Landgrabbs need to watch out!
Boundaries and respect! Poly relationships were introduced with the Romantic Boundaries system, and to respect these relationships, they will not be seen as scandalous! It will only be scandalous if your Sim cheats on them. We love the attention to detail on polyamorous relationships and consent.
Scandals! You can pay them away or kiss them away…But your kissing partner is a bit slimy. There are apparently many noble frogs that your Sims can kiss to erase the scandals they face. Let’s just hope they haven’t been eating any flies…Maybe a mint leaf needs to be in your Sims inventory, just in case! True(or not) love’s kiss can make it all go away!
Now this is my personal favorite! We can now design our own crests! For those who love lore-heavy gameplay, this is an excellent feature. If you own Get to Together, you know how repetitive the icons can get if you have several groups. If you have several monarchs, we don’t have to worry about being repetitive, and it helps add lore by how you design the crest. A small feature, but important, all the same.
