New EA Creator Kits

The Sims 4 community has always been a vibrant hub for creativity, and EA’s newly launched Creator Kits are taking that passion to the next level. These kits mark the first time creators from the community have had full creative control over in-game content, officially published by The Sims team. Launching on November 14th, the first two kits—Myshunosun’s Cozy Kitsch and Trillyke’s Sweet Slumber Party—promise to offer players fresh, inspired ways to customize their Sims’ worlds.

From TSR to EA

We are especially proud of Trillyke, who has a long-standing history with The Sims Resource. Trillyke began creating custom content with us back in 2016 and was a Featured Artist before moving on to new ventures in 2020. It’s amazing to see where their journey has taken them, and we couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of their creative evolution.

Trillyke’s Creator Kit, Sweet Slumber Party, is a playful collection inspired by classic teen movie sleepovers. Expect cozy pajamas, fluffy socks, and an array of skincare accessories that will elevate any in-game sleepover to a whole new level of comfort and style.

Myshunosun’s Cozy Kitsch

Myshunosun brings a unique flair to their Creator Kit, Cozy Kitsch, with a focus on mid-century modern designs. Known for their vibrant color palettes and attention to detail, their collection includes vintage-inspired furniture and décor that will give your Sims’ homes a retro yet timeless aesthetic. Myshunosun has been a fixture in the Sims community for years, also dipping into TSR, and their bold, creative vision shines through in every item.

What Makes Creator Kits Different?

Unlike previous community collaborations, Creator Kits allow creators to pitch their ideas and design entire collections independently. The Sims team works closely with these creators to bring their visions to life while ensuring performance stability across platforms. What’s exciting about these kits is that they’ll be available to all players, including those on console, expanding access to custom content that was once limited to PC players.

What’s Next?

As we look forward to the release of these first-ever Creator Kits, we’re excited to see how they shape the future of in-game content creation. With more Creator Kits planned for 2025, this new chapter in the Sims community promises even more ways to customize, play, and tell stories in-game.

At TSR, we’re honored to see artists like Trillyke grow and succeed in the broader Sims community, and we can’t wait to support the next generation of creators. Whether you’re decorating with vintage radios from Cozy Kitsch or hosting a stylish slumber party, these kits are sure to add fresh excitement to your game.

Stay tuned for more updates as we draw closer to the November 14th launch of these incredible Creator Kits!
