What is the purpose of traits within The Sims 4 beyond adding personality? Many players don’t realize that traits actually do impact a Sim’s life! Traits can affect a Sim’s everyday life by making them gassy, scared of the grime in the bathroom, or making everything a big deal. Some traits can also change how other Sims interact with them. Let’s go over 6 Sims 4 trait immunities that affect a Sim’s life in ways you may not have realized.

The Snob Trait
Starting off with the Snob trait, pranks will always fail against Sims with this trait. So if you were planning on pulling a prank on Nancy Landgraab, maybe find a different victim. These Sims are so high up on the high horse that pranks can’t touch them.
The Macabre Trait
Secondly, we have the Macabre trait. Sims who are Macabre can not become terrified! How convenient for the Sims that go outside in thunderstorms all the time. Though they may not get terrified, they do become scared. The scared moodlet does clear faster than other Sims, though.
The Maker Trait
For our third trait, we have the Maker trait. These lucky Sims will not die from being electrocuted when using Handiness or Robotics! So if you have a Sim who is a Maker, don’t worry about having them work on their handiness or robotics skill!
The Skeptical Trait
Moving on to the fourth trait, Skeptical! Skeptical Sims have immunity from occult powers! Vlad’s at your door trying to hypnotize them? Haha, Vlad, it won’t work. So if you’re looking to have a Sim that won’t be influenced by the occult, make sure to give them the Skeptical trait.
The Cringe Trait
Up next is the Cringe trait. Cringe Sims are immune to hysterical deaths! They can get as giddy as they want and not have to face the consequences. These Sims can giggle all day long without a care in the world.
The Erratic Trait
Lastly, the Erratic trait! These Sims are immune to fear of storms! Not only that, they don’t mind being naked in front of other Sims. These are the wild Sims that have no care in the world.
